ISCC+ Certification
International Sustainability and Carbon Certification
A new step towards the circular economy with ISCC+ certification
We are pleased to announce our ISCC+ (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification).
This international standard certifies the traceability of companies that promote the use of raw materials derived from biomass or sustainable sources.
As part of our actions for a more circular economy, it was only natural for us to pursue ISCC+ certification. This allows us to provide our clients with traceability regarding the origin and reuse of chemically recycled plastic.

Our ISCC+ certified zip closure systems
By working with responsible partners, we ensure the reuse of plastic waste in the production of our zip closure profiles.
This ISCC+ certification allows us to guarantee the sustainability of the materials used throughout the value chain and positions us as a key player in the circular economy.
Our PE single and multi-hook zip ranges, made from chemically recycled plastic and manufactured in our BRCGS-certified facilities, maintain food contact compliance. The reuse of polyethylene plastic waste leads to a reduced carbon footprint and enables a more sustainable life cycle.

Until now, it was difficult to ensure the traceability of the sustainability of raw materials (chemically recycled) from production to shipping.
We have therefore worked with our partners to enable the use of chemically recycled material for food-grade applications.
This allows us to offer chemically recycled products suitable for food contact.
Zips made from certified recycled plastic based on the mass balance approach.
Our goal was to implement the processes required to obtain ISCC+ certification while ensuring the traceability of material sustainability.
The ISCC Plus certification involves collaboration across multiple departments such as quality, supply chain, production, and management control.
We already offer many recycled products, such as regenerated materials used in our range of self-adhesive flap bags.
Recycled raw materials (RRM) are also incorporated in our standard Minigrip® opaque black or antistatic bags.
We also use post-industrial recycled plastic (PIR) in our Minigrip® PCR range. We are committed to offering new, more responsible solutions.
Our goal is to produce 15% of our packaging using recycled or bio-based plastic by 2025.
We have obtained ISCC+ certification for our most popular standard zip range, while maintaining food contact compliance (BRCGS certified).
