Child-resistant closure
The patented Safegrip® closure solution ensures the safety of children under 6 years old, as its opening technique deters them and prevents them from accessing the package contents. This profile offers a tactile and audible effect, guaranteeing closure.
This zip is ideal for hazardous or non-edible products, making them inaccessible to children.
Our patented Safegrip® solution integrates the closure system and the sealing device to make the entire pack inaccessible to children.
The Safegrip® solution complies with the CRC (Child Resistant Closure) standard ISO 8317 (EU) & US 1700.20 (US), also available for pre-formed pouches in various formats. The CRC standard indicates that a child aged 0 to 6 years should not be able to open the pouch in less than 5 minutes. This closure system remains easy for adults and seniors to open.
This solution requires coordinated movements with both hands, preventing children from accessing the contents and thus ensuring their safety.
Our closure profiles are 100% monomaterial and recyclable.
We support local employment with our production plant in France near Paris; the workshops are BRCGS certified, and our Safegrip® closure is food contact approved.
